Stephen Sean Stallings

When I hired Steve I actually liked him as a person, He seemed knowledgable and caring. However one of my first transaction with him, was to replace a check I gave him, as a retainer. He then entered a trial totally disorganized. He accepted numerous documents from the Government without verifying or... challenging the documents. At one point when a witness was introduced Steve said " I thought he died" The comment was not only unprofessional but he actually showed how little he knew about the witnesses. Mr. Stallings never questioned why Government witnesses were overpaid and how that could effect the testimony of the witness. He also let the Government use two years of documents that preceded the Warrant. When I hired Mr. Stallings he was located in the Osterling Building, which had outside bars and a huge framed accomodation from the DOJ hanging on his wall. If you are considering Mr. Stallings, you may want consider someone else.

I hired him for my criminal sentencing and direct appeal. He messed up my sentencing hearing and caused me to have a tremendous restitution amount, which increased my incarcerating time and is hurting me to this day. He lost my transcripts from a whole day of hearings and did not demand them from t...he court. On direct appeal, he missed several major issues. He took a LOT of $, but was not worth it in the end.

Stephen Stallings is by far the best attorney around! He went above and beyond for me. He listened and most importantly truly cared about what happened to me. This is one of the most incredible people I have had the honor to meet, I wish it was under better circumstances but I would trust him with my... life and did!
