Lauren P. Hand

Lauren P. Hand is an associate in Saxton & Stump’s Business Litigation and Strategic Solutions group in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. She brings federal appellate and state supreme court clerkship experience to her litigation practice, having served as a Judicial Law Clerk on both the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Most recently, Lauren served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Cindy K. Chung on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Previously, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable David N. Wecht on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Lauren began her judicial experience as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Yvette Kane on the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Lauren’s earlier legal experience includes work as a Summer Associate at a regional law firm, where she supported the firm’s business, real estate, employment, and litigation practice groups; a Legal Extern with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, focusing on state environmental regulation; and an IOLTA Fellow with the Community Justice Project, where she drafted asylum-related briefs before the Philadelphia Immigration Court and the Third Circuit, and prepared VAWA relief applications on behalf of survivors of domestic violence.

Outside of her legal practice, Lauren serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Community for Pittsburgh Ultimate.
