Biography
Attorney Colton is a family law attorney who works as a litigator, mediator and collaborative professional. She is also an adjunct professor teaching Family Law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She will help you find the divorce and family law process that works best for your family. Her practice includes divorce, support, custody, partnership agreements, prenuptial agreements and mediation in Pittsburgh and its surrounding counties. She has been trained as a family law mediator, collaborative attorney and parenting coordinator. Attorney Colton volunteers with the Pro Se Litigants program and the Pro Bono Protection From Abuse program. Attorney Colton has presented on various family law topics to the general public and fellow attorneys.
Prior to joining Obermayer, Attorney Colton clerked in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Family Division for Judge Eaton and worked at various family and civil law firms. Attorney Colton received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Attorney Colton is active in the Allegheny County Bar Association and American Bar Association. She also volunteers with the Neighborhood Legal Services Assocation Pro Bono PFA Clinic and the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Self Help Center.
