He was appointed Deputy Attorney General in 1986 and handled psychiatric and medical malpractice cases throughout the state. Four years later, he was promoted to Senior Deputy Attorney General and was responsible for defending thePennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and Pennsylvania state hospitals and physicians. His unwavering advocacy resulted in 90 percent of verdicts in favor of the defendants he represented.

Excellent resolution to a very traumatic experience
Jim and his team were able to obtain an excellent settlement for me. Not only that, but Jim and his team were able to perform a lot of the work independently, as to not remind me of the very difficult issue that i had to experience and continue to live with.
