The Coffee Is KEY

This is THE DEFINITIVE review of Eddy, Townsend Gravina & Bendik and this is THE DEFINITIVE review centers on a cup of coffee. I found this law firm when I found myself unexpectedly getting divorced from my wife of fifteen years - it was a shocking turn of events for both me and my young children.... For clarity, I have a professional background in Film and TV locations, so I have a keen eye for how any business or home is operating based on the appearance of the space. So, when I when I took the elevator up to the office and stepped into it the first thing I noticed is the office space of E.T.G.& B looks like $hit on a stick. It had all the charm of a NYC Bus Terminal. If I hadn’t been recommended by the judge I would have passed, but again I had paid them upfront based on the judge’s recommendation, and the judge turned out to be great friends with my lawyer… I was escorted from the run down reception area to their conference room, which was equally unimpressive. I asked for a cup of coffee and a few minutes later a receptionist returned with one of the worst cups of coffee I ever had in my entire life served in a disposable cup; I assume it was some cheap powder coffee mix that had been microwaved. She also brought a few individual creamers. And that’s All You Need To Know Folks, the coffee is the answer to your question; this is a law firm which will charge you going rates, maybe even above normal, but invests zero into their office space, and they will give you one of the worst cups of coffee you’ve likely every had because that’s how they operate, and a law firm that invests that little into the client experience is an easy tell about what you will get for your money. As for Hilary, she seemed to be more interested in telling me that as a man, PFA court will not be on my side, and that I should take consent, even though I told her repeatedly that the PFA was almost entirely a fabrication on the part of my wife, and I gave Hilary evidence to prove the fabrication, and I told Hilary I was happy to appear at a hearing, but Hilary stuck to her guns - a man in a PFA court will likely go down... Hilary then wrote her consent, which I looked over initially while in the car and it seemed ok at quick glance. So Hilary let my wife’s lawyers know I would sign the document, much to the delight of my wife and her lawyers. But thankfully I did not sign the consent that Hilary had written, which when I sat down and read over looked it was written by my wife’s lawyer because it basically threw me to the lions. When I asked Hilary how could she write a consent on my behalf like she had, she seemed more concerned that I was now refusing to sign it… I then knew then to get a new law firm to represent me ASAP. When I found my new law firm, which has a beautiful office, has a fancy coffee machine, charged less upfront, they had no idea who Eddy, Townsend Gravina & Bendik were - keep in mind my new law firm is less than a mile from E.T.G.& B's office. My parting note, Hilary DOES NOT take calls on the weekend, or in the evenings, because as she said a few times - nothing happens when the courts aren’t in session... When I signed with my new law firm, I called them on the weekend and I joked – wait you’re going to talk to me on the weekend, I thought lawyers never talk to you on the weekend because nothing happens when the courts aren't in session? My new law firm's response was - you talk to your clients when they reach out to you regardless if courts are in session or not. REMEMBER THE COFFEE FOLKS .

Not a PFA attorney !

I hired her twice for $850 dollars to represent me for two PFA's and family court where I was the defendant. Twice the female plaintiff had no preponderance of the evidence and no witnesses . It was all hearsay written down on a piece of paper against me. I literally begged her to go in front of the ...judge but she would not and twice I had to take it up the wazoo and sign a consent to a PFA. She also charges for emails and phone calls. I most definitely would not recommend her for any man who feels he has a strong fight. Pittsburgh Family Court is a zoo . They all eat out of each other's hands down on Ross Street.
