He has successfully prosecuted and defended claims in both federal and state courts, guiding clients through high-stakes matters with a practical, business-oriented approach. Doug maintains an active Trusts and Estates practice, advising individuals and families on estate planning strategies designed to protect assets and provide long-term certainty. He also advises fiduciaries on the efficient and compliant administration of estates, with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and risk mitigation.

Doug’s extensive background as a certified public accountant, combined with over a decade of experience in finance and accounting in the healthcare industry, enables him to bridge legal strategy with financial analysis. He earned his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and received his MBA from Duquesne University, where he served as an adjunct accounting professor for eight years.
