I hired Chas to handle a case for me after a previous attorney had screwed it up. Chas was willing to trust my view of things, without automatically siding with the previous attorney just because he was an attorney. He was also willing to let my husband handle filing all the documents, analyzing c...omplicated estate accountings, preparing spreadsheets, and providing potential arguments to advance, which saved a ton of money on paralegal work. Chas was open with me, explained everything, and even allowed me to frequently argue with him (he claimed to enjoy it). He's a really nice guy and totally honest. The one thing I'd fault him for is that he isn't good at scheduling. Chas tends to let cases slide a bit till trial time (he loves trials), and then, since three trials had piled up consecutively, he was unable to spend enough time preparing for mine. However, he later hired an assistant and that seemed to help a lot.
