Adam Joseph Tragone

ADAM J. TRAGONE is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. He is based in the firm's Pittsburgh Office.

Mr. Tragone received his B.A. from Juniata College where he majored in Politics. He earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. While at Duquesne, he served as executive editor of Volume 54 of the Duquesne Law Review and as a member of the Christian Legal Society, the Italian-American Law Society, and the Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association. An active member of the school’s Appellate Moot Court program, Mr. Tragone was a semi-finalist at the Touro Law Center’s National Moot Court Competition in Law & Religion. He also coached a semi-finalist team at the Federal Bar Association’s Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition. His law review article, Defining the Press Clause: The End of Hot News and the Attempt to Save Traditional Media, 15 Chi. -Kent J. Intell. Prop. 237 (2015), was published in the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property in the summer of 2015. In addition, Mr. Tragone was chosen by his graduating class at Duquesne, to be the student speaker at Commencement.

Prior to attending Duquesne, Mr. Tragone was the managing editor of Human Events, one of the nation’s oldest weekly political newspapers in Washington, DC. He appeared regularly as a political commentator on national and local television, and hosted his own segment on American Radio Journal, a nationally syndicated public affairs radio program based in Harrisburg, Pa.

Mr. Tragone worked at FedEx Ground's legal department in the Litigation, Labor, and Transaction Groups while in law school. As a McGinley Public Service Law Fellowship recipient, he spent the summer between his second and third years with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of General Counsel, working in Pittsburgh’s Department of Transportation office. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate at the Rush Law Group LLC in Reading, Pa., where he handled general litigation matters.

Mr. Tragone is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
