Biography
Peter D. Friday focuses his practice in the areas of industrial, mining, construction, and maritime accidents, workers compensation, products liability, medical malpractice, automobile accidents and personal injury. He has particular experience in cases involving occupational safety issues, including fall hazards, machine guarding, chemical exposure and electrical hazards.
A graduate of Bucknell University (B.A., Economics and Philosophy, 1983) and the Antioch School of Law (J.D., 1986), he also attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law as a visiting student in 1986. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to forming the firm, Mr. Friday served as in-house counsel for a major insurance company, practiced law at Pittsburgh-based insurance defense firms and was a partner in a personal injury firm.
Mr. Friday is a member of the Allegheny County, Washington County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the West Virginia State Bar the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
