Biography
I am a real estate, small business and litigation attorney with 20 years experience. Having practiced at large law firms, local government, and in-house at various property management companies in Allegheny County, my experience and contacts lend themselves well to most clients' real estate and small business needs. I am also a landlord and enjoy assisting new or experienced landlords with leasing language and evictions/collections.
Wakefield Law Group, P.C. is here to assist you with raising equity for real estate deals, closings, property mangement/landlord-tenant, and initiating or defending lawsuits for problems like seller disclosure issues, collections, breach of contract and other claims. We also handle estate planning and administration, powers of attorney and pretty much anything that does not involve divorce/custody law, personal injury or criminal charges, though we certainly can refer you to the right people if your needs fall into those categories.
VentureLaunch, LLC is a subsidiary handling business start-up filings and counseling including LLC's, S-Corps, Partnerships and trusts. VentureLaunch's mission is to assist new business owners at a lower cost than most attorneys charge but with more responsiveness and personal attention than is offered by on-line self-formation websites.
Our affiliate, Allegheny County Deed Company ("ACDC, Deeds Done Dirt Cheap") may give away my age, but that's not the only thing we give away...realtors and investors who find themselves needing deeds repeatedly can enjoy a volume discount as repeat customers. We charge less than most attorneys for deeds and the more you need, the less you pay. Deeds start at $300 and the price is reduced by $50 per deed for a minimum charge of $150.

Terrible Experience with KM Wakefield

Replied last September 26, 2023Mark, your comment is slanderous, as it implies that I did not refund your retainer. Your verbal abuse of my staff and complete lack of understanding of the process, while behaving as if you are some kind of authority were just disgusting. Folks, Mr. Know It All here got his retainer back after berating my staff and repeatedly ignoring email correspondence communicating the status of things. This reviewer is extremely rude, entitled and inaccurate.

Replied last September 26, 2023Elaine, your experience is reflective of the gross inaccuracy of your expectations of immediate attention despite signing an engagement letter acknowledging that you were not to expect any attention from my firm for the first 10 days after you paid and signed. The urgency of your matter was not sufficient for you to pay rush rates that you also agreed to pay in your signed contract, but urgent enough act as if my compliance with deadlines you signed off on was somehow hurting you beyond you not getting constant immediate attention. Try this with your doctor, your hairdresser, your banker, even at the line in the grocery store. You cannot just waltz in and have a professional drop everything for you when their time is promised to others. I did call your landlord, but by the time he called me back, it was after you fired me or failing to behave like your personal assistant.
