I reached out to Patrick in Feb regarding filing a rule 600 he took my money said he could file it. Two weeks later he filed the wrong motion taking him another 2 months to refile with many calls having to be made. When the court day arrives he says we may have a issue because I’m not his official at...torney on the case. I said why would take my money if that was the requirement. Needless bond denied due to him not even qualifying for the rule 600 all which should’ve been reviewed before he took my money telling me he could do it! ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR WASTING MY MONEY AND TIME!

This man will do anything to benefit himself. He has no loyalty to his clients. He will through them under the bus if he judge friends want this to happen, he will say “take one for the team” he asks for large amounts of money, chases you down to get your case, then postpones for years. Makes deals t...hat you are not aware of, then drops out saying”client and I have difference of opinion” and your money is gone! Just like that. He’s a bad man who makes deals with bad people. They do not care about guilt or innocence. Only getting what they want for whatever reason. A favor now gets him a favor later. A client with more money who is more desperate. He’ll save his favor for that client. I have warned you.

This attorney is absolutely terrible. Promised my fiance no jail time for dui cases. He forced him to go to court and have a plea drawn up that wasnt even on the list for court. sent a different attorney who knew nothing on the cases. Not once tried to get charges dropped or lowered. I called and cal...led and called with no return calls. He would sent letters about coming to see him and when you get there he knows nothing and just says he will take care of it. My fiance has a pending 4th dui charge from 2 years ago. He has postponed the hearing and now he is facing mandatory jail time since this will be his 4th convicted dui. When i called him a week before he just stated "he knew 4th is jail time" and "we will see what we can do" He has been paid thousands and has done nothing. not once tried to do anything to help my fiance

Thomassey convinced me to not sue local police department for civil rights violations because they would act on fabricated charges against me. Based on his recommendation I agreed to a much reduced charge and a fine. A couple years later when I explained everything to a police officer friend I was ...told the police violated my 4th amendment rights and I would have easily won a lawsuit against them. Mr Thomassey NEVER mentioned any of that. Didn't even review any of my evidence. He just said if I don't agree to drop any lawsuit, they will take me downtown for the federal charges and it would cost a lot of money. So I agreed. I wish I knew back then how badly my rights were violated.
