Born and raised in Washington State, I completed my juris doctorate degree at the Seattle University School of Law, where I was a board member of Young Democrats and the International Law Fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta, and a mentor in the Women’s Law Caucus. During my time in law school, I worked as a court certified intern representing indigent clients charged with misdemeanors, felonies and assisted on a capital punishment case as a public defender.
After graduating law school, I went on to represent the rights of the injured as a personal injury litigation attorney in Washington. During my time in Seattle, I met and married my husband, an officer in the United States Navy Submarine Force, and proceeded to move around the country. During our time in Connecticut, I became licensed and worked advocating for the rights of injured workers in Workers Compensation Litigation, both state and federal, as well as continuing my litigation efforts in the field of personal injury.
Upon moving to our current residence, in northern Virginia, I joined the appellate section of Osterhout Disability Law where I continue my passion of advocating for the rights of the individual and helping them obtain the benefits they truly deserve in Social Secuity Disability and under Employment Disability Plans.
