Robert A. Felkay

I had an issue with the high fees that Attorney Felkay charged and was berated during closing because of my limited experience. I wrote a review on here that was 100% factual and Robert replied through email threatening me. Here are the direct words from his email: "It is quite possible I wil...l be filing suit against you for libel since you crossed the line with your comments about me on line. Your published statements are patently defamatory. " Nothing could be further from the truth. I was very open and even provided the HUD-1 (showing closing fees) when I purchased my new home to Robert to prove that he was charging "junk Fees".

Robert was the settlement attorney for the house I sold in Elizabeth Township, PA. His fees were 60% higher than the non-attorney closing service I used when I purchased my new home around the same time. Unfortunately, I only learned of his fees once the HUD-1 had been presented showing them plac...ed on the seller's side, 1 day before closing. I provided evidence from my previous closing showing that his fees were excessive and was quickly dismissed because I am not as experienced.
