Richard James Schubert

Richard J. Schubert was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. As a lifelong resident of the area, he gained an extensive amount of experience from some of the most prestigious trial court lawyers and Workers’ Compensation attorneys in Pittsburgh and other parts of Western Pennsylvania.

Attorney Schubert became the managing partner of a top personal injury law firm in Pittsburgh, and after being with the firm for a period of time, he decided that he wanted to open his own law firm. Richard was admitted to the State Bar of Pennsylvania in 1980, and he has been trying cases in both federal and state courts since that time. Richard has been a key leader in multiple trial lawyer organizations as well. In addition to serving on the Pennsylvania Association for Justice Board of Governors for the last three decades, he has also served in all executive positions of the organization. He served as president from 2003 to 2004. Before taking on state positions, Attorney Schubert was a Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association Board Member, and he still remains in that position to this day. He was president from 1993 to 1994, and he served in all executive offices of the organization during the 1980’s.

Attorney Schubert is a member in good standing of the prestigious Allegheny County Academy of Trial Lawyers and he served on its Board of Governors as well. This organization is limited to 250 trial practitioners whose principal office is located in Allegheny County. Admission is by nomination and approval of the membership. It requires recommendations from judges and peers who are familiar with candidates’ qualifications and experience.
