Matthew F. Dolfi is a trial attorney handling cases invovling personal injury and commercial litigation. Mr. Dolfi graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He manages cases involving commercial litigation, professional liability, construction defects, employment and civil rights law, and personal injury claims. Mr. Dolfi has represented engineers, accountants, contractors, employers, and individuals in all types of litigation, including cases involving allegations of negligence, negligent misrepresentation, breach of contract, and large-loss subrogation. Mr. Dolfi has tried multiple jury trials and has also represented clients in arbitration, mediation, early neutral evaluation, and before administrative groups such as the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
In law school, Mr. Dolfi served as an intern for the Honorable Judges Kenneth G. Valasek and Joseph A. Nickleach of the Court of Common Pleas of Armstrong County. He also earned a civil litigation certificate and received the CALI award for excellence in Litigation Strategy and Planning.
In 2008 and 2011-2019, Mr. Dolfi was recognized by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
