Regina Marie Brown

Regina Brown always knew she wanted to be an attorney — and more specifically, she wanted to use the law to help people who truly needed it. That sense of purpose has guided every step of her career.

After earning her degree in Political Science from Slippery Rock University, where she was a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Society, Regina went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2003. During law school she completed an internship with Neighborhood Legal Services providing free legal assistance to those in need, and later earned a paid internship at the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania — a notable distinction during her third year.

Regina launched her legal career as a law clerk for Judge George E. James in the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas before transitioning into criminal defense as an Assistant Public Defender in York County. In 2006 she joined the Allegheny County Public Defender's Office, where she spent a decade honing her courtroom skills across jury and non-jury trials alike. Her dedication and performance earned her a promotion to Pre-Trial Division Manager in 2014 — a role that required not only legal acumen but strong leadership and organizational ability.

In 2016 Regina joined Berger and Green, bringing with her a wealth of courtroom experience and a deep commitment to client advocacy. Today she focuses her practice on Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income cases, representing clients across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. She understands firsthand how much is at stake for the people she represents and approaches every case with the sensitivity, preparation, and candor her clients deserve.

Regina is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR) and the Allegheny County Bar Association, where she is active in both the Homer S. Brown Association and the Women in the Law Division. She is licensed to practice in all Pennsylvania State and Federal Courts and in all Social Security Courts throughout the United States.

Outside the office, Regina is the proud parent of three sons — Torian, Jarett, and Derek — and enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.
