WOW! I don't even know where to start, but I will keep this as brief as possible. Let me start by saying, that Steven is known to be one of the top two attorneys in the beaver County area, and he has that reputation for a reason! My son was involved in a gun incident and facing his third firearm cha...rge. But Steven assured me that he could help us, and he kept his word. My son walked away with a receiving stolen property charge, a one dollar fine for that (keep in mind a gun charge is a fine of $10K automatically) and a (20) month sentence that should have been a (5) year sentence, with his record and score in the criminal Justice system. His original charges involved carrying a loaded firearm without a license, fleeing and eluding a state trooper and several other charges. Steven was able to get all of those charges dropped for one reduced charge of receiving stolen property. He is not one of those lawyers that hides behind his secretary that you can never get a hold or that doesn't respond to your emails or that doesn't call you back he is NONE of those things he is actually the complete opposite! He was always there to talk to me, to comfort me, to assure me, to make me feel like things were gonna be OK when I was crying my eyes out not knowing if my son was going to be gone for (5) years! He comes HIGHLY recommended and he's reasonable. He values family and understands that people struggle sometimes. He worked with me on payments and wasn't the type that ONLY cared about his money! No, he cares about YOU, and the situation you are facing. I appreciated his openness and honesty about the case the entire time. I had ab occasion to have to hire an Attorney for my son. Attorney Valsamidis was extremely efficient. He answered all of my questions quickly and professional. He listened to what I had to say. He was willing to work around my schedule for phone calls/and or office meetings. I have also had to... use him for other occasions and received the same outstanding, professional services from not only him, but his office staff as well. Thank Goodness for Attorney Valsamidis. Mr. Valsamidis was ready to give up from the very beginning. He provided misinformation about a particular defense and when I looked it up and proved that he was wrong, he agreed with me but said that he didn't want to use that defense. He made the statement, "I wish that law library didn't exist" ...(or words to that affect). He provided one story to my wife and then another story to me, so I do not find him trustworthy. It takes him days to respond back to you. I don't think he is Knowledgeable about the law. And you only hear back from him a few days before the trial. He went on a vacation to Greece and kept a pending legal matter on hold for over a month. I would NOT recommend this lawyer.
