Steven Valsamidis

Steven was hired and paid $6,000. He told me from the beginning that this would be an easy case. The case went on for 21 months before I called the ADA and made a better deal in 5 minutes than Steven could in 21 months. He lied about numerous things and blamed the ADA and Judge. Steven wouldn’t retur...n my last 3 calls and quit on me the day before trial. The judge allowed this because he lied to him as well. He skipped my preliminary trial and lied about this as well. When I confronted him he got upset and said I could fire him if I wanted to. This man can only make plea deals. Don’t hire him if you are truly innocent. My case had over 8 continuances in my behalf and I didn’t ask for one of them. In my opinion this man is garbage and a coward. I would tell him this to his face but he screens my calls and won’t return my messages. I’ve reported him to the PA bar association.

So I had an incident where a situation went to 11 and I pulled a firearm. The local police were trying to throw the book at me ( 2 felony aggravated assault charges and 4 misdemeanor charges) Collectively I was looking at a possible 36 years in prison ( being 41 this would make me 76 when released) u...pon the advice of the bail bondsman that night I contacted Steve the next day. Steve consulted with me fairly quickly and i immediately hired him knowing I needed all the help I could get. The delay request he filed did make me nervous as it pushed the case 2 months later but it seemed to help. Steve was able to negotiate this down at the preliminary hearing and got the cops to drop the 2 felonies right away. ( despite his best effort they weren’t going to bargain on the 4 misdemeanor charges) Still he got a favorable outcome when the police accepted my ARD request and only gave it 24 months with a fairly minimal fine and no jail time ( everything was negotiable except going to jail). So he got me 24 months probation which was a bit extreme even he thought but he did his job and kept me on the street then he even offered to help me with the expungement process after I finish the probation. Can’t say enough good things about the man cause he genuinely helped me at the worst moment of my life. Sure he’s busy and it might take some efforts to get through to him or his office but believe me they’ll respond and will do whatever they have to to get you through it. The day of my preliminary hearing he was really busy but made every effort to keep me informed and aware of what he was trying to do. Criminal charges are deep deep #2 and you need all the help you can get. Steve helped me and a lot of others here. If you need him he’ll believe you cause he’s probably run into this situation before. It probably didn’t hurt that at 41 and having never been in trouble before I was the ideal client, but still get ahold of Steve cause he’s going to care about you and will keep you where you belong, not in jail

I had 3 trips to the court house and the lawyer I hired first wasn't doing anything for me. I heard about the Greek/Beast from a few people (all good things) so I decided to give him a call. Greek was a phenomenal lawyer for me and my friend. We found ourselves at the wrong place at the wrong time. We both have professional licenses that were on the line and were a mess trying to get our case sorted out. From the beginning, Greek made us feel 10 x better about our case. He had us feeling... better from the moment we sat down in his waiting room. I felt that he really took a personal interest in us. He kept us up to date with what was going to happen and what to expect. I had several questions regarding our licenses and these charges, and he did his best to answer those questions to give us peace of mind. The day before our prelim, I was a mess until I got a call from him personally. He walked me through the next day and reassured me, which made that following day a little easier. The day of our hearing, he kept us informed of what exactly was happening. He managed to work with an extremely difficult attorney of the other defendant (one that I almost lost my cool on a few times, but he reeled me back in) and still got us the best case scenario. Even after the hearing, he was interested in what he could do for us and our licenses. Every step of the way, he was there and made me feel like he cared. My stress level was through the roof but with the Greek as my lawyer, I really felt weight get lifted off my shoulders. I will (hopefully) never need to use a defense lawyer again, but if I do, you can bet I will hire him again.

WOW! I don't even know where to start, but I will keep this as brief as possible. Let me start by saying, that Steven is known to be one of the top two attorneys in the beaver County area, and he has that reputation for a reason! My son was involved in a gun incident and facing his third firearm cha...rge. But Steven assured me that he could help us, and he kept his word. My son walked away with a receiving stolen property charge, a one dollar fine for that (keep in mind a gun charge is a fine of $10K automatically) and a (20) month sentence that should have been a (5) year sentence, with his record and score in the criminal Justice system. His original charges involved carrying a loaded firearm without a license, fleeing and eluding a state trooper and several other charges. Steven was able to get all of those charges dropped for one reduced charge of receiving stolen property. He is not one of those lawyers that hides behind his secretary that you can never get a hold or that doesn't respond to your emails or that doesn't call you back he is NONE of those things he is actually the complete opposite! He was always there to talk to me, to comfort me, to assure me, to make me feel like things were gonna be OK when I was crying my eyes out not knowing if my son was going to be gone for (5) years! He comes HIGHLY recommended and he's reasonable. He values family and understands that people struggle sometimes. He worked with me on payments and wasn't the type that ONLY cared about his money! No, he cares about YOU, and the situation you are facing. I appreciated his openness and honesty about the case the entire time.
