Shawn Dryer

Shawn has been practicing law for over twenty years.

A native of Pittsburgh, Shawn served as a medic in the United States Army and the Pennsylvania National Guard. He graduated from Penn State with a degree in Classics in 1992 and served for a year as a volunteer high-school teacher with the Irish Christian Brothers at Rice High School in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City. Shawn started law school at the University of South Carolina the following year. While in law school, he was on law review, won the third-year moot-court competition, and served as a teaching assistant in the first-year legal-writing program. He received his juris doctor degree in 1996.

Shawn is admitted in all state and federal courts in Pennsylvania as well as in the courts of the State of New York. Over the course of his career, Shawn has worked for an appellate court and an appellate judge, as a civil litigator in two law firms, as in-house counsel for a large corporation, and as a public defender.
