In this case I represented a young woman who complained to her landlord about broken plumbing. He responded by kicking her out, which is illegal. He also kept her security deposit. We sued him for r ... etaliatory eviction and for withholding the deposit. We ended up getting four times the deposit back plus attorney fees. That was my first civil case.
