This partner failed to properly explain my separation agreement options claiming it was because I wanted it done quickly and charged heavily for communication mostly involving clarification. I was charged about $1k more than quoted at the consultation meeting. Afterward, she billed me to file a deed... but made multiple errors on the paperwork and used an outdated transfer form that the county clerk rejected. I had to fix the transfer paperwork and recorded the deed myself. After I formally disputed the errors, the firm only refunded about half of what they charged me for the failed work and kept the rest. The lack of professionalism and accountability was unacceptable.
