Terrance Albert Falk

I hired Mr. Falk in 2010 to handle my divorce. I paid him the agreed upon fee and an additional $1000. It is now 2015 and I am still not divorce. The only time we had regular contact was when he was anticipating payment. I requested regular itemized billing summaries and did not receive them. I,... like other reviewers, often had to call from another number to speak to Mr. Falk. I have filed a grievance with the NYS Bar and would recommend other clients do the same. This man should not be practicing law.

Sounded promising until he got the retainer check. He did a consent to change attorney and after that, months went by and I was unable to get in contact with him. I had to call from a restricted phone number to get him to answer the phone. He still did nothing so I had to pay another attorney to try ...to get in touch with him which he also was unable to get ahold of him as he didn't respond to a letter the new attorney sent him. I ended up having to file a grievance and eventually was awarded all of my money back. Unfortunately much valuable time had passed by and it's been a year since I hired him and I still have not received my money back!

The dates he claim to have file other documents do not match up with the clerks office. My new attorney has made repeated requests for my file as well as for him to sign over my case 3 weeks ago and Terrance Falk has yet to respond. Terrance Falk was paid for work he fail to do. His willful defiance ...is further hurting my case and my life!!

I retained, asked to pay cash, did so with receipts, paid in full in 2 weeks, took 6 mo to file basic divorce papers, had to call over 30 times to see when spouse would be served, finally served 6 mo. after retained, 8 months, would not return calls, I called Livingston cty supr. court and got info t...hat I at the very least had an index number, most expensive part to file $210 . Great, however, because this un ethical attn never filed the second half, which I have proof of supporting docs, the judge, a year later, still has not seen it.. I have to pay another lawyer to finish bc thing guy will not return a call.. no.. return 30 calls, text and emails.
