Arrogant and not very knowegeable

He was recommended by my real estate agent. I am not impressed by any means. At closing I asked if it would be better to keep the original certificate of occupancy in my possession. He immediately ripped it from the abstract of title and handed it to me. I had to go to the Abstract Title Inc. and ...ask them to attach the certificate to the abstract so it can be kept safe. He did not mention that I am responsible for the tax bill whether I get the bill or not. (Well, this is no brainier, but he could have mentioned that I was not getting the bill since there was less than a week left between closing and bills being sent out). In later conversation he claimed that he did not know that it takes 6 to 8 weeks for the County to notify the town of the owner change. I can attribute his behavior to either to his lack of knowledge or simple careless of the client. (I suspect both). He was rude to me when I called and pointed out that he could have been more organized while working for me. He does not seem to care about the client and is not afraid to show it.

Great Service. TY Anthony!

I know that you handle hundreds of closings a year however Ed and I wanted to let you know that we appreciate your handling of the closing of our home in Brighton. After 33 years we were not that familiar with all the specifics or what we needed to get done but you and your staff kept us informed and... on track. Closing went without a hitch. Many thanks to you and your team!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
