Schyster

She was disbarred in 2015 by NYS (https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/news/2015/04/07/christina-agola-attorney-disbarment/25408841/). She took a frivolous case I was involved in, which was withdrawn when Judge Larimer threatened sanctions ("frivolous" is judges language). Very surprised she ha...s her license back. If you hire her, know that all the judges and attorneys in upstate NY are against YOU from the start because of her. Don't believe the phony positive review(s), she writes them. Nobody fears her.

sexual harassment

I hired Christina to help me with a sexual harassment case. She was wonderful and got me a huge settlement! I thought she was great.

Consultation for ADA, ADEA and Hostile Work Environment

Was lied to about the consultation fee. Was told over the phone it was$175.00 but when I arrived at Christina's office I had to pay $350.00 to consult with her for approx a half hour. Christina gave me wrong advice which led to a portion of my lawsuit being dismissed. I eventually pursued the litigat...ion Pro Se and after 3 plus years settled with the defendants. I was very pleased to hear her license to practice law was revoked. My condolences go out to all her victims and hopefully they will be reimbursed fully for what they endured at Christina's hands. Kudos to the NYS Appeals court for revoking her license.

Lots of red flags!

I saw Christina in 2012 after being laid off from a very large corporate employer. I thought her front desk person was very unprofessional and dressed like a clown. I was required to pay $350 before I even sat down with anyone. I was very uncomfortable with that because I've always paid for any pro...fessional services after the services were rendered. It seemed like the office was only worried about collecting money and they didn't even try to hide it. After seeing an assistant for about 10 minutes Christina did come down to get me. She could barely walk up the stairs her skirt was so tight. She spent only 15 minutes with me and did all the talking. She really did not want to hear about the situation with my company and what brought me to seek her counsel. She spent the 15 minutes laying out the fees and talking as if she knew the facts of my case, which she did not. I was uncomfortable with the first meeting. I then sought out another attorney to compare. I found someone who spent over an hour talking to me and acquiring the facts. The retainer fee was also more reasonable. He answered all my questions and was not in a hurry to collect a fee and send me out the door. Luckily, I saw some red flags on my first appointment with Christina and decided she was not someone I would feel comfortable working with. I paid $350 for absolutely nothing but I found great representation by doing my homework.

The worst experience ever!!!!!!

I became Christina Agola client from 2009- 2012. Initial meeting and fees totaling up to $9,000 at least and another $3500.00 to the court of appeals and the whole time this case received a couple of meetings with a turn over of employees and inconsistencies that lead me to belive that nothing wa...s ever done. I asked the court of appeals was there such an appointment. They informed me to contact my lawyer. The responses and efforts were very dissapointing.
