Craig Diallo Carson

Craig did a great job representing me during my initial unemployment claim and also in a subsequent appeal by my former employer. Craig was thorough, professional, and aggressive during the process. My only recommendation is that he explain himself clearly when a client asks him questions. At times I... didn't completely understand his answers to my questions during consultation, even when I asked for clarification. Despite this minor concern, I won both appeals and would recommend his services.

Hired Mr. Craig over the summer for a tenant dispute representing the tenant. The matter was time sensitive, which was replaced to Mr. Carson. After paying to retain his services he became essentially unresponsive. It took over two weeks for him to even send the initial email to the other party's att...orney. It felt like he was delaying work to force the case into court. Prior to retaining his services I explained I wanted to avoid court and any eviction filings and wanted him to act as a mediator. By the time I retained his services we had almost a full month, yet when he reached out to the other party's attorney less than a week until lease end. Services retained on 7/5 first email not sent until 7/23. In addition he didn't seem to look into anything further. I informed him no notice of nonrenewal had been received, took weeks for him to even ask for proof after my landlord refused to provide me proof or even the letter. Once "proof" was received it was a certified letter receipt, however I found the tracking to show that no delivery was ever attempted. He was not able to get proof that a letter was posted to our door like the landlord lied about, or that one was put in the mailbox which the landlord also lied about. In addition the address on the certified letter receipt is written over and nearly illegible. None of this seemed like a concern that should be looked into by Craig. He just kept pushing oh let this go to court it'll be fine you'll get a few extra months here. I again tried to retain his services in October where he responded to my initial email nearly immediately saying "let me review this" and then never responding again. Horribly unresponsive. Incredibly disheartening. When someone hires you to handle a potential eviction it's actually crazy to have to beg for updates and for the attorney to review and work the case he was hired for. If you don't want to work the case, don't extend your retainer to the client.

Spoke to this lawyer via fbook messenger, phone call, text and email about representing me for a case. Stated he would be willing to represent me and asked for me to send him pertinent documents. He confirmed he received them and then he stopped answering all forms of communication. He couldn't even ...have the common deceny to say he was not going to represent me prior to my court date. Extremely disrespectful and rude. I would not recommend him to anyone.
