John Mark Wells

I am a litigator and trial attorney whose civil litigation practice focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury, automobile accident, nursing home negligence and commercial, business and estate disputes.  I have civil and administrative trial experience.  I possess state and federal mediation experience, including participation in the Federal Mediation program, and frequently represent clients at arbitration. 

I possess considerable appellate experience, including appearance before the New York State Appellate Division, Fourth Department.

Before joining Lacy Katzen LLP, I worked for a civil litigation firm focused on medical malpractice, personal injury, workers compensation and Social Security disability actions. 

I served as a guest instructor for St. Bonaventure University's mock trial team and as a guest lecturer at Olean Business Institute.  I also served as a trustee for the Village of Cuba, New York.
