Douglas Michael Jablonski

I was falsely accused of attacking my ex . . . I was arrested and released . . . She had marks on her wrists where her own son pulled her off of me and forcibly removed her from the room . . . The problem was I was 300 lbs and worked as a certified security guard, she was 110 lbs and way cuter than m...e. . . If I get in trouble I lose my job. . . Even though I was innocent I didn't want to take a chance, so Doug was able to reduce a misdemeanor assult to a violation. . . Which is like getting a parking ticket . . . The Judge said that he knew my ex quite well because she had brought the same charges against other men in the past and advised me to stop my relationship with her . . . I did . . . I have not been in any other trouble with the police after letting her go . . .

I have heard good things about Mr. Jablonski if you hire him personally, but he was court appointed to me for a criminal case I had that in fact was a self defense issue, and at first he even agreed that it was self defense, but when it came to discovery he did absolutely nothing for me. I had to gat...her my own evidence, in which he never submitted or mentioned in the hearings. The DA came up with a plea offer which I refused several times. I have reason to believe that he did not even try to negotiate something better with the DA as he kept telling me they were not budging from the offer, but when I finally gave up hope of Mr. Jablonski defending me the way I felt he should have, I told Mr. Jablonski I was not willing to take the offer unless I could do weekends as I had already lost one job and everything else over the matter and my family needs me and I can't stand for my family to lose everything again, and suddenly the DA agreed to what I personally asked for. I felt as if I had no other choice to take an offer after Mr. Jablonski turned his belief of self defense into actually telling me out of his own mouth that he thought I was guilty. In the 7 months that he was my attorney, I had been in his office 3 or 4 times and rarely heard a word from him until my court date, then while waiting for court to start my fiancé and I would sit in the hall waiting while Mr. Jablonski would stand at the other end of the hall talking about his personal life with the ADA and other attorneys instead of going over my case with me. He is a nice guy to talk to and probably very good if you personally hire him, but in my situation I believe he hurt me more than help me.
