I prepared an amicus brief for both the Mass. Supreme Judicial Court hearing and for the appeal to the Supreme Court, challenging the state's position that electronic defense weapons ("stun guns") are ... not protected under the Second Amendment. The Supreme Court granted rejected the state's position and the SJC's decision upholding it. The Supreme Court not only granted certiorari, but unanimously reversed and remanded the SJC's decision. Justice Alito wrote a highly critical opinion of it.
