Success against very bad tenants
N/AOUTCOME: Win in Court, Win on Appeal
Clients came to me because they had some very bad tenants who refused to pay rent and changed the locks without permission. When the clients scheduled their inspection of the house, the tenants got a ... restraining order against them. As soon as the our clients were able to get in front of the judge, the restraining order was dismissed because it was meritless. We proceeded with the eviction of the problem tenants. Even after repeated conflicting statements to the Court by the tenants, both the eviction and removal of restraining orders were upheld on appeal.
