My wife and I refinanced a property. We opted to use the law firm Northwest Bank hired. Part of the closing costs included making a payment for the first half of the taxes on the property. We get a notice in July about our taxes that the payment was not received. We follow up with the bank about escr...ow. They told us to follow up with the closing agent. We have contacted the law firm 6 times between my wife and I. In the beginning he contacted her through email that he was going to see if it was applied to the wrong account. We have been waiting months for an answer. He will not return call, nor give us any followup to our situation. I strongly advise no one use this guy. He also asked for our title certificate to expedite the closing process. I haven't gotten it back yet.
