DAVID H. ALEXANDER is a partner with Gross, Shuman, Brizdle & Gilfillan, P. C., a
law firm with offices in Buffalo, New York and a GTA office in Burlington, Ontario.
Mr. Alexander is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School of Finance andCommerce) and Cornell University Law School. Mr. Alexander is in charge of the firm's Estatesand Trusts Department and is regularly involved in estate planning (in the United States andCanada), probate matters, will contests and estate litigation. He also has expertise andsubstantial experience in corporation law, New York and federal income taxation (individual,business and international tax), securities regulation, immigration and public finance. He wasadmitted to practice before the New York Bar in 1973, the U.S. District Court of WesternDistrict of New York in 1975, the Florida Bar in 1976 and the U.S. Tax Court in 1979 and as aForeign Legal Consultant in Ontario in 2005. He was selected for New York Super LawyersUpstate Edition 2008-2016 New York Area’s Best Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America 2009-2016.
