Thief

He'll lie and tell you "he puts his life in to his cases". Might be true some day but not in my case. He was paid $3500 for a shared custody petition, he withdrew on account of him having covid. I just got my file no shared custody petition what's so ever. He was also paid $1500 to take civil case ...to trial, was settled immediately afterward. He's a con and a crook. Inbox me on Facebook Ryeinstein Albert Nicastro or email me at [email protected] for a real attorneys recommendation and audio evidence to support all of my claims. Going to file a police report this weekPicked the wrong payrent. Federal claims coming soon. Prayers up to your wife and son always they deserve a better man in their life's.

I am shocked by this client's review and the picture he portrays me to be. Custody Case: When he came to me, he was facing Family Offense and Custody Petition. The Family Offense for allegedly placing a stalking device in his ex-gf car, tracking her, and punching her in the face in front of the kids amongst other allegations. In spite of this, I obtained temporary 50/50 custody in family court at first appearance. Thereafter, when the case was not going the Mother's way, she had him criminally charged and arrested for assault, amongst other charges and the case was transferred to IDV court. At the first appearance there, it went from 50/50 to supervised based on the Judge's sua sponte decision and the AFC position over my opposition. I filed a Motion and had that Judge recuse herself and it was transferred to another Judge who scheduled a trial but kept supervised. Before that, I made an emergency appeal to the appellate division to try and overturn the first IDV judge's decision to no avail. The appeal was dozens of pages long and contained voluminous case law. Client had copy of all of this. After that, with new Judge, conducted a 5 day trial over many months, including, expert testimony and parties settled with unsupervised and substantial visitation. This client, with another well-respected attorney, plead guilty in criminal case and Order of Protection was in place. In spite of that, i obtained near 50/50 access. Whilst all this was going on, filed a civil case for engagement ring back and other personal property years pre-pandemic. Many pre-trial conferences, two judges, depositions were held, I went to Reeds with other attorney to get ring appraised, and after years of litigation, client signed a Settlement Agreement and obtained ring back and some other personal property. Years of litigation, dozens of conferences, depositions, pleadings, phone calls, emails, even on vacation, after hours, text messages during this time, and successful settlement post pandemic and did thousands of dollars worth of legal work and accepted modest payment of $1,500. I did not charge him more as he was a good client and I felt bad for his situation but easily could have charged more like others. In 2019, he was facing a violation petition and we filed modification petition, and an Amended one, and the case went into the pandemic. I had motions to respond to because he did not comply with discovery he said on Petition he claims was never filed. He was on the oral argument with other court watchers in connection with that. I had to respond to discovery, send out discovery, had numerous conferences, respond to motions, numerous text messages, emails and phones calls during the pendency of the Petition he claims was never filed. The Judge and the children's lawyer were not supportive of his Petition or more time because of his conduct, behavior, including, but not limited to, posting a picture of his ex-gf's former lawyer on social media of her behind with unflattering comments, other alleged violations of the Court's Order, etc. Unfortunately, prior to trial on the Petition he claims was never filed, I had to withdraw due to illness that I could not help. I did many thousands of dollars worth of work that he was never charged for because I am not about drowning in people in legal fees and do care and try my best for every client as I did with this client. I have all the emails and text messages saved over five years to show responses after hours, late at night, or while I was on vacation with my family. If anyone has questions about me, please call and do not go off this review or the others this client is encouraging others to write most are not clients of mine.

SCAMMER

He was paid $5000, and in all of the time he lost parts of my file like they just vanished on top of calling me a liar about my parenting time !!

Poor choice

Didn't live up to recommendations. Another friend said they had the same experience. The one who actually hired this guy is extremely upset at the level of care! We all fell for the poor choice.

Master of All Trades - Divorce and DWI

I was referred to Jason by a police officer colleague after I complained to him about poor legal representation during my divorce. I am so glad I reached out to Jason. He was naturally well versed in matrimonial law, but he was a very skilled observer and behind the scenes operator. While my ex wa...s manipulating the process to try to get her share and more, Jason ensured that the judge, counselors, and other lawyers were aware of her games and lies. I was only ever looking to preserve my 50/50 share of our belongings and custody of our kids, yet my ex was trying every shady angle to cast me in a negative light so she could get full custody and take as much of my current and future income as possible in the process. With Jason's steady guidance, after over two years of issue after issue, the ruling came down just as Jason projected - 50/50 custody and no child support to be paid. Two years later, I found myself under charges for a DWI with refusal to blow. As a pilot, I knew this could completely derail my career for years to come. I called a couple of "expert" DWI law firms before I called Jason, and after my previous experience with him, I just felt better cared for with Jason. He was able to identify several unusual and potentially improper procedures executed by the arresting deputies. He also highlighted the positive impacts of my current career and spent months negotiating with the district attorney to ultimately get me a plea deal in which I simply needed to stay clean for 6 months and the charge would be reduced to a non alcohol traffic violation. My future as a pilot is still an option because my record is clear of alcohol violations. I can't stress enough that he is well versed in the law and respected among judges, district attorneys and fellow attorneys. Despite my desire to take a different approach on more than one occasion, Jason has always recommended the path that led to the best possible, even unimaginable, outcome. You can't go wrong with Jason on your team!

11/10

I was referred to Jason from a friend in 2018. I was exhausted, postpartum and unfamiliar with the family court system. During a time when I didn't know who I could trust, I finally felt safe after our first meeting. He listened to me and gave me a voice in front of Judges that aligned with my values.... I can genuinely say that mine and my daughter's life is drastically improving now because of him. Jason walked me through one of the hardest times in my life, every step of the way. I'm forever grateful for him and his team. Money well spent.

"As in-house council for a consultancy, we hired Jason as litigation counsel on a breach of contract action. He pervailed on a motion for summary judgment in our case, and left a good impression on the principals at my firm. I am happy to recommend him for the purposes of litigation and debt collection."
