Jake Cercone

I'm Jake Cercone, founder of Cercone Law PLLC, a Buffalo, New York litigation firm built around direct, responsive advocacy. I represent small and medium-sized business owners in contract, compliance, and commercial disputes; individuals and businesses in civil litigation; clients facing criminal charges, including DWI and DWAI; families navigating family court matters; personal injury victims seeking fair compensation; and individuals working through probate and estate administration.

I started Cercone Law because I saw an opportunity to pair old-school work ethic and client service with a modern, practical approach to litigation strategy. Every client works directly with me throughout their case — not a rotating cast of associates — and I limit the number of new matters I take on at any given time so each one gets the attention it deserves.

I'm a back-to-back Super Lawyers Rising Stars honoree (2025 and 2026) and currently serve as Director of the Bar Association of Erie County. I hold a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a B.S. from the UB School of Management, and I'm licensed to practice throughout New York State.
