Going to a law office can be an intimidating experience, especially if you are disabled or elderly. My firm is small, and gives you personal attention, when you need help the most. My areas of practice include Social Security and SSI, Wills and Medicaid Planning, and Estates. Don't be fooled by big firms that do lots of television ads. Come to our office for the individual attention that you deserve!

Who says that being a good lawyer means you are stuffy and use big words that your client can not understand? My office is different.  It is a warm and welcoming place, from the greeting by our little office dog, Hollywood, to working with my two great paralegals, Barb and Cheryl (make sure you ask about their grandchildren!), to talking to me.  My goal is to make you comfortable, well informed about your situation, and to do great legal work on your behalf.  

A little about me:  I was born in Utica, and grew up in a few small towns in Eastern New York State.  I went to college at the University of Rochester, taught at a small college for a few years, and then began working for the Social Security Administration, which I did for 14 years.  I went to SUNY Buffalo law school, and after graduation and passing the bar, set up a small law office in Lockport.  I am married and also have a dog.  I love animals, reading, driving cars with stick shifts, and travel.  I believe in giving back to my community and serve proudly on the boards of the Dale Association (senior services and help for the mentally ill), Neighborhood Legal Services (legal help for low income clients) and the Salvation Army.  To help others has always been one of my guiding principles, and I try to do this in both my volunteer work and in my profession.
