Brian Arthur Macdonald

I am a trial lawyer who has taken well over 50 cases to verdict in the past 10 years. My practice is largely devoted to the defense of personal injury cases as counsel retained by insurance carriers. My experience ranges from handling premises liability cases, automobile accident cases, products liability and complex construction law cases.

I handle insurance issues in several different areas. Primarily, I advise insurance carriers as to their respective rights and duties involving construction injury cases. Additionally, I have done considerable work in New York State concerning "Supplemental Uninsured Motorist" coverage, which concerns the rights of claimants seeking reimbursement from their own insurance companies for personal injuries.

I am developing an insurance fraud practice, and am currently working with two major carriers. This area of practice requires both litigation and insurance coverage skills.
