The focus of my law practice is in assisting clients with family type issues: divorce, custody, adoption, etc. I am a certified divoce and custody mediator. The mediation portion of my practice has grown considerably in the past number of years, as work gets out that mediation is a better methodology for resolving disputes. Mediation is kinder, more efficient, and less expensive than litigation. For most couples, in my opinion, it is a much more effective means of resolving disputes. Divorce does not need to be a war.
I take great pride in always being honest with clients, and giving them honest assessments of their cases. I tell clients what they need to hear, not necessarily what they want to hear. I am not a yes man for anyone. It serves no purpose to not tell clients about both the positive and negatives of their case, and to tell them up front when their goals are unrealistic.
