2 one star reviews and still has a 6.8

Both said same thing. This guy is a crook. If you agree to do a task. It's not an open check to do as you please Check into them before paying anything you do not want a chef fixing your car. You do not want a personal injury lawyer for a divorce

Review

He did nothing for me. Did not return phone calls, on 2 occasions he returned a call at 7:30 in the morniing, miscalculated figures for my divorce settlement, failed to inform me of cancelled court appearances, never once sent me an itemized bill, despite my rights to one per the retainer agreement..., said one thing in the office and another on the phone. I hired him on the rave reviews of another attorney. I would never recommend him. My divorce was simple and should have taken 6 months. It took 2 years and I lost money because of my "attorney".

Might as well have gone with a public defender.

He showed up for the first and last of my court appearances and sent someone to substitute for the ones in between. He was hard to get a hold of, never updated me with new information, and lied to me twice. in addition, every time I wanted to bring something up against the other party I was told to s...ave it for trial while the other party kept slamming me with their arguments. And every time I wanted to file a motion or a petition to have something done about my issues he advised against it. In the end I was able to solve the whole case on my own. Such a waste of money!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
