Client falsely accused of domestic A&B. Sealed case under 100C, then successfully petitioned court under the new expungement law to expunge client's record under G.L. ch. 276, 100K. 100K expungements ... require the defendant to show by a clear and convincing standard that the charges through a fraud on the court. This was the first (and as of the writing of this update, the only) 100K expungement allowed in Massachusetts.

Client hired Attorney Pang to review the viability of withdrawing a plea on a domestic assault and battery charge, or in the alternative, seeking an early termination of a lengthy probation. Following ... a successful motion to the court to terminate the probation 9 months early, Attorney Pang petitioned the court to seal the client's criminal record. Petition to seal was allowed.

Client charged with unarmed robbery while masked and aggravated assault and battery. Victim's jaw was broken during robbery. Theory of defense was mistaken identification. Cross-examination reve ... aled that lead investigating officer failed to conduct a complete investigation and failed to disclose key identification evidence to the grand jury. Cross examination of the victim got him to admit weaknesses in his identification of his assailants. Jury returned Not Guilty verdicts on all counts in less than 2 hours.
