Many people are not experienced at shopping for a lawyer. I, myself, was certainly not. You may decide to get a lawyer by someone referring you to them. Well this lawyer was recommended to me by someone that had a state criminal case. I really did not know much about the lawyer but I trusted the pers...on who informed of this lawyer. So that was good enough for me. My case started off being a state case and ended up being a federal case. I wasn't to sure if he could handle the case being federal or not. Not knowing the legal system that much I decided to keep him. I was faced with 22 years in prison. I thought I was too old and would die in prison. On my appeal, by the way was won, I received 9 years in prison, not accounting for the time I had already spent in prison. I really did not think he would pull it off but he did. So I think God for giving him the mouth piece to present my case. I recommend me to any and every one. He is an excellent lawyer and person.
