Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Mark worked at a Honolulu, Hawaii-based law firm, where he focused primarily on civil litigation and insurance coverage matters, including general liability defense, automobile liability, asbestos defense, construction defect, and premises and product liability.
Mark has a lengthy record of professional affiliations, volunteer work, and public appointments, which include previous service as a member and chair of the Otsego County Planning Board and as a volunteer panel member with the Surrogate Decision-Making Committee, Commission on Quality of Care and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities in New York State (now known as the New York State Justice Center for People with Special Needs). Mark currently serves as a Trustee of the New Woodstock Regional Historical Society in Madison County, New York.
Mark received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Texas and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Mark was a law clerk with the New York City Office of Corporation Counsel and served as a Research Associate in the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs, General Legal Division, from 1988 – 1989.
In addition to being admitted to practice before all state courts in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, Mark is also admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the State of Hawaii.
