Rebecca Rose Cohen

Rebecca is an attorney in the Immigration Practice Group. With expertise in family-based and employment-based immigration, and previous experience with labor and employment law, she can provide extensive representation to clients on issues that span a broad range of family and workplace concerns.

Certified by Mediation Works Inc. and the New York Peace Institute, Rebecca's mediation experience brings a collaborative, solution-focused approach to her law practice, and an ability to listen well and understand her clients’ interests and needs.

Rebecca focuses her practice on family-based green card applications, removing conditions, citizenship and naturalization; transitioning from a student exchange visitor status to employment; and employment-based petitions and visas, including EB-1, H-1B, L-1, O-1, P-1, and P-3, and TN petitions and visas. She also assists clients with dual citizenship matters.

With a lifelong appreciation for the unique talents that foreign nationals contribute to American culture and to our economy, she is passionate about helping her clients successfully navigate the immigration process. Rebecca works to help her clients evaluate their situation, understand their options, and develop a strategy to accomplish their objectives.

Background
A Syracuse native, Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University, and her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Rebecca served as Associate Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She has also served as Deputy Director of Development for the Reach Out and Read National Center in Boston, and as an attorney at the Ottinger Firm PC in New York City.
