Terrible liar

Took the money and ran. 15k.. would had better results from the court appointed attorney.

Dishonest and lacks integrity

Hired Mr. Carey for a tax appeal case after he promised me he would get it dismissed. He not only did not file my appeal but refused to give me my money back, or even return my call. I had to hire another lawyer to try and fix it, but I am afraid it is too late. He isn't an honest person. Be careful....

Terrible lying attorney

Hired Paul Carey for a family member he is a terrible lying attorney .. Paul is more like a police officer than a lawyer he lied to take your families hard earned money then he will switch the narrative and become combative . My nephew had him I do not recommend him for anyone you’d think his prowess... of the law would have him on the side of the defense however he is on the side of the prosecution. Communication skills completely off lacks integrity and does not have the heart of any richeous defense attorney . The cases he have one must have been in a complete dumb because my nephews case he promised great things just to show he was just after money and it’s sad heart breaking and disappointing.. He should have been disbarred 5 years ago!!!!!!!!!

Paul has never let me down

This is the attorney to hire…period! He has always answered my calls when I was in need and has giving me the best advice without asking for money. I have hired him in the past and will continue to do so! He works hard for you and is not afraid to show it in court!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
