Kavitha Janardhan

Kavitha Janardhan is an Upstate New York-based Labor and Employment and Litigation attorney, who represents both employers and employees in wrongful termination, discrimination (including sex, race, and disability discrimination), sexual harassment, whistleblower (anti-retaliation), and wage and hour disputes.  Kavitha also regularly advises employers on employee policies and benefits.  

In addition to labor and employment matters, Kavitha practice includes representing individuals in appeals of short-term and long-term disability claim denials.  

Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Kavitha was an attorney at an AmLaw100 law firm specializing in labor and employment counseling and litigation. Drawing on that background, Kavitha has the ability to approach employment matters from the perspective of both employers and employees. She takes pride in her role not only as a litigator, but also as a thoughtful and trusted advisor dedicated to the well-being of her clients.  

Kavitha was raised in a diverse community in New Jersey before going on to earn a joint B.A. in History and Political Science at the University of Michigan and a JD from Boston College Law School, where she graduated cum laude. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Everson Museum of Art and a member of the New York State Bar Association's Task Force on Racism, Social Equity, and the Law.
