You cannot be sued for the difference because you did not reaffirm the debt. The bank has to send you all the paperwork on the foreclosure but...

His credit should not be affected if you are the only one who files the bankruptcy and you have no joint debt, but there are no gaurantees.

They cannot throw you in jail or seaize exempt assets. They can come after you for as long as the jusgment is unpaid and valid.
