Are you sure you are not getting the bill for your husbands medical services? In many States spouses can be liable for their spouses medical bills.

Attorneys can refuse certian cases, especially if they are not competent to handle the more complicated 13's.

You should see about food stamps, welfare, go to Catholic Charities and find out what programs can assist you and your family. Good Luck.
