Pamela Anne Munson

For 8 years I have been in the family court system. After years of battling a vindictive ex for visitation I always hit a dead end road. I would be granted visitation, ex wouldn't follow through, the court would do nothing. After years of going nowhere I kind of just accepted the way it was. One day ...someone had recommended Pamela Munson. I consulted with her and she was very attentive and took many notes. I decided to hire her and give it a try. In just a couple short weeks I was informed that I wouldn't have to go to court, visitation was all set. I was satified with the quick process and finally I was getting my daughter on a regular basis. This past November a situation arose and first court appearance I was awarded temporary custody and permanent custody was awarded shortly after. It is known that father's have a tough time getting custody but Pamela Munson made it look easy. Pamela Munson has always returned my phone calls in a timely manner and I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a professional but hard nose lawyer that doesn't take no for an answer. In my wildest dreams did I ever think I would win custody especially the county I am in. Pamela Munson, the lawyer that made a difference.

We were told in NYC grandparent had rights when a parent lost them so we hired Pam to represent us and when we went to family court it was a whole different story after we had paid her. The agreement had to be changed I called her several times and twice was told she would mail a copy of the order it... never happened. I finally received the court order today pretty much putting things back in moms control whom we don't get along with we won't go into that an along with an additional bill for almost the same amount we already paid her. So for a pretty high court fee and a long waiting time we didn't get much. Oh and on one day our son had to go to give permission when I asked if we needed to be there I was told it was up to us. I would not recommend Pam for anything like this it was a waste of money

She will initially come off as a great find- returns calls, etc. Outside of court after my divorce she told me she wouldn't blame me if I tried to appeal due to the lousy representation she provided. It's a little late at that point, thank you. Besides, you know damn well the money is all gone now. ...A couple others I know wound up with the same deal through her. Her pangs of conscience after trial still didn't prevent her from removing $6,000 from the proceeds of the sale of my home to cover her fee... that by her own admission after the fact was for unbelievably lousy representation. The other attorney presented the wish list of everything they wanted at the beginning of the divorce process. With a decent lawyer you also make a list and meet somewhere in the middle. I'd have been $6,000 ahead if I just agreed to everything they wanted then because Pamela Munson didn't do one thing to help me in any way. It became obvious that she had done NOTHING to prepare when she called me THE NIGHT BEFORE trial to "review". In between screaming at her kids we spent over an hour going over everything... in other words... that was the only work she did to prepare. It seemed as though she had no respect at all from the opposing attorney or the judge. Good luck if she is your choice... you're going to need it.
