Very Knowledgeable Estate Planning Attorney

I am grateful to Matt for the work he did for me after my husband died. He helped me get my affairs in order and drafted a new Will. The work he did has given me security and peace of mind.

Outstanding attorney

Mr. Dorsey originally handled my legal affairs after the death of my husband. His professional yet caring manner while handling the estate affairs was invaluable to me. He has since handled a real estate closing for me as well and has drafted my will. I feel I am in good hands for all my future legal... needs and would look no further. He is an extremely competent professional in his field, heads above many others.

Excellent attorney

I am a CPA and have worked with Matt for approximately 3 years. I have referred several clients to him for estate planning. He has an excellent ability to explain complex situations and make clients feel at ease with what can sometimes be a tough subject matter. He is reasonable, knowledgeable and... excellent to work with.

Great Choice for Estate Planning

Matt was a great help to me with my estate planning. Getting your estate plan in place can be overwhelming with a lot of decisions to be made. Matt spent the time to review all the options and answer all of my questions. He is articulate, easy to talk to, and very knowledgable about estate law. I... have come away confident with my estate plan....which is a great feeling!

Highly Recommend!

I retained Matt on the recommendation of a family member and found him to be well versed in the law. He provided clear explanations to my questions in terms a "layman" could understand. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matt and would definitely contact him in the future for any of my own legal needs....

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
