Geoffrey A. Rafalik is the founder of Rafalik Law, PLLC and concentrates his law practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, Business Succession Planning, Elder Law, and Medicaid.
Mr. Rafalik is a native of the Capital Region, growing up in Saratoga Springs, attending Siena College and Albany Law School. While at Albany Law, Mr. Rafalik pursued a concentration in Tax Law to gain a better understanding of estate planning for high net worth clients. In 2020, Mr. Rafalik was named a Super Lawyer "Rising Star" for the Estate Planning practice area.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Rafalik knew he wanted to focus on estate planning because his grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and was placed in a nursing home. Unfortunately, she did not have proper planning in place which resulted in financial loss but also significant hardship on his family. Mr. Rafalik’s goal is to educate his clients so they can avoid the hardships his grandmother and family endured.
