Our client was a pedestrian who was hit by a car that ran a red light while walking through a cross walk. Perez was taken by Amblance to a local hospital where he was treated for injuries and released ... with very little medical attention given to his injuries. Once Perez contacted our office we were able to get him the necessary medical attetnion he needed to diagnose and treat his injuries. We were then able to resolve his outstadning claim for injuries for the full amount of the available policy limits of the at fault driver.

H.J.'s condominium was burned as a result of a fire which started in her neighbor's home after the neighbor fell asleep in bed while smoking a cigarette. Lucky for H.J. she was able to escape with no ... injuries. H.J. was uninsured. An out of court settlement was reached with the at fault parties insurance provider which compensated H.J. for the loss of her home including the contents and valuables destroyed by the fire.

J.C. was a car salesman who was unjustly attacked by a coworker in the middle of the show room floor while customers present. The attack was unprovoked and the at fault party had a documented history o ... f violence. Suit was filed against theemployer under the theory of Negligent hiring, retention and supervision. An out of court settlement was reached in which J.C. was compensated for his injuries, pain and suffering, loss of income both past and future.

State of Florida v. Krystal Bush

OUTCOME: Not Guilty

Ms. Bush was charged with solicitation for prostitution of an undercover police officer while he was working a sting operation at a lingerie modeling establishment. The state attorney called the under ... cover detective as the state's main witness. Upon cross examiniation of the detective his credability was brought into question and his testimony on direct examination was proven to be inaccurate. Jury returned a not guilty verdict after 30 minutes of deliberation.

G. Krewson v. Progressive Ins.

OUTCOME: Policy Limits settlement for Mr. Krewson

Mr. Krewson was riding a motorcycle in the rain along a heavily traveled roadway. Witness statements said Mr. Krewson was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time he cut in front of an automobile ... without first checking to make sure he had enough room to safely move in front of the automobile. Mr. Krewson's motorcycle clipped the front right corner of the automobile which sent Mr. Kewson onto the hood of the vehicle and sent his motorcycle into oncoming traffic. When the automobile came to a complete stop Mr. Krewson was wedged underneath the vehicle. Mr. Krewson was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he received treatment from a wound specialist for serious road burns to his arms, hands, shoulders and legs. Mr. Krewson was subsequently cited for careless driving. Attorney Palma was able to resolve the careless driving citation in a manner in which Mr. krewson did not receive a conviction or points on his driver's license. Mr. Palma then demanded the automobile driver's policy limits from Progressivre insurance under the theory of Florida's comparative negligence law. Mr. Palma argued the automobile driver did not drive defensively and should have anticipated the mistake by Mr. Krewson and could have taken steps to avoid the collision. Due to the comparative negligence on the part of the automobile driver, Progressive agreed with Mr. Palma's theory of the case and subsequently tendered the policy limits for the automobile driver's insurance policy.
