My mother hired Lisa as her divorce attorney. She was promised the world and at the end was told "don't you just want this over?". She ended up broke and in debt. A few months later, my mother fell ill and was on a ventilator. I needed to obtain her divorce papers (or copies of them) to process her... health benefits. She could not speak for herself because she was on a ventilator and I was her power of attorney. When I contacted the office and finally tried to speak to Lisa, she screamed at me and had a temper tantrum about my asking for the papers- even though I offered to come by or fax documentation of the power of attorney. She ended up hanging up on me?! Is that professional when all I was asking for was paperwork that I was entitled to? I ended up finding other means to obtain the needed documentation and then my mother passed away. Thank you for NOTHING!
